Individual sessions are an opportunity for you to develop insight and a deeper understanding into your life. While group therapy offers personal insight and change through group process, individual therapy offers personal insight through the therapeutic relationship and a strengths based perspective. Sessions are client-centered, giving you more personalized treatment. My approach is client-centered, however, you are hiring me to help guide you through stuck points. For this reason, I believe I am not doing my job, if I don’t help you through to the other side. At times, I will challenge your thoughts and behaviors when it contradicts your desired outcome. Free of judgement, full of love, I will help you identify the barriers to your personal success and achievements.
Group therapy is a powerful tool in making changes in our lives. It offers the safe space to develop trusting relationships and group cohesion, to allow ourselves to be vulnerable and honest in areas we would like to change. Group topics include depression, anxiety, codependency, conflict resolution and addiction. Group counseling sheds light into deep rooted patterns and beliefs about ourselves and the world we live in. Free of judgement, full of love, group counseling opens up the space for personal healing and growth in a safe, supportive environment. Please check the Events page for upcoming support groups beginning January 2019
Whether you notice dissonance within your family unit, your child is acting out in school, or your tween is becoming more sassy by the day, family counseling offers the entire family unit a space to openly express their concerns, while looking within for solutions. During a family counseling session, often times the parents will have an initial session to discuss concerns, and open following sessions for all family members to be present.
